Tipton
Linen can help your business or industry decrease the amount of
indoor dust and dirt. Our products can also improve air quality, increase
workplace safety, reduce fatigue and prevent carpet wear and tear. We offer
four types of dust control products.
Floor Mats

About
70% of the dust inside a building is tracked in from outside. The most
effective way to trap dust is through the use of a floor mat. Floor mats are
called the silent janitor because they stop the dust before it enters your
building.
Floor mats enhance the appearance and safety of your building by
absorbing water, mud and soil. They protect your high-traffic areas and
carpeting, and reduce the chance of slippery floors. They are useful not only
at entrance areas but in areas that are used often such as vending machines,
check-out counters, restrooms, water fountains and kitchens. We can add your
company's logo to your floor mats (see below) making them not only useful, but
attractive as well.

Here are the dirty little facts about floor mats:
- Floor mats that are professionally cleaned can capture 70% of the dirt and
dust tracked into a building.
- One-square yard of commercial carpeting can accumulate one pound of dirt
every week; two pounds in wet weather.
- Only 10% of dirt is removed from a floor mat with a vacuum cleaner.
- A clean floor mat will pick up dust and dirt better than a dirty mat.
- Having Tipton clean your floor mats assures you of clean and attractive
mats.

our extensive selection of colors.

6' widths up to 23' long.
Dust Mops
Though a rental floor mat is the best way to prevent dust from coming
inside your building, some dust does make it inside. Tipton can supply you with
specially-treated dust mops that are designed to collect and hold dust from
walls, floors and other surfaces.
Dust mops are treated to help them attract dirt and dust. Our rental
dust mop strands are strong and can withstand pushing, pulling and twisting.

Here are the dirty little facts about dust mops:
- Disposable mops are poorly constructed and are meant to be thrown
away.
- Puchased, launderable mops cannot withstand commercial laundering.
- Home laundering cannot remove all the dirt from a mop.
- Brooms just push dirt around and can dull or scratch certain surfaces.
- Tipton's dust mops are of superior quality and are professionally
treated.
Wet
Mops
Wet mops are for use in cleaning any type of hard flooring. Our
loop-end, rental mop is superior to a cut-end style and will absorb five to six
times its own weight. Made of a blend of yarns, our wet mops are designed for
strength and absorption.

Here are the dirty little facts about wet mops:
- Purchased cut-end mops are not treated with an anti-microbial formula and
will present a serious odor and discoloration problem.
- Cut-end mops leave long strands of yarn in the work area, adding time and
labor to remove them.
- Tipton's wet mops will not leave strands as cut-end mops do because of
their one-piece construction.
- Our wet mops are superior to the cut-end mop in strength, cleanliness and
absorption.
Shop Towels
Shop towels are a clean and absorbent product that can be used to wipe
your hands, or to wipe down machinery, furniture and equipment. Tipton can
provide your business or industry with a continuous supply of towels.
Shop towels can be dyed to show their end use such as white for food
processing; blue or gray for printers; red or orange for mechanics; yellow for
wiping surfaces.

Here are the dirty little facts about shop towels:
- Shop towels are more absorbent than paper towels. It may take 5 to 10 paper
towels to do the job of one shop towel.
- Buying rags is a gamble in that they may not be made from absorbent
material that can damage equipment and surfaces.
- Five 18 x 18 shop towels cost less than a pound of rags.
- Shop towels are reusable, therefore there is no disposal cost.
- Shop towels don't fill up landfills as do paper towels.
Our customers know they can rely on Tiptons for dependable, affordable service
and products.
